It has traditions of three nations - Lithuanian, Polish and Russian. The school has long-term history, dates back to 1927.Through the history, there has been 48 students who graduated from this school with golden, silver medals and letters of reccomendation. They have all became doctors, lawyers, judges, teachers, economists. Some of them even work in the Government. About 40% of all the teachers in this school are it's graduates. The school itself develops children's spiritual and physical abilities, helps everyone to understand and accept the common human values like sympathy, manners, courtesy, creativity, love for the motherland and being independant. Everyone gets to know their cultural and historical roots. The gymnasium provides students with access to culture to help them become active members of society; It is an important link in the entire educational process, which helps the student to gain personal, social and cultural maturity. Museums, theaters, exhibitions help the student to develop creativity, develops cultural, national and civic self-awareness, emphasizes inclinations, promotes their activities, independently, reveals various abilities, teach communication and rejoice in their achievements. Student participation in the activities of cultural education gives him confidence in his own efforts to acquire knowledge in various subjects. Participating in a project of this level would already be a European-level acquaintance, experience. The knowledge of the cultural heritage of European countries will be deepened, which will be very useful for pupils' choice and profession. In charge of this project the deputy director Dalia Gauryte & Jelena Boroda- English language teacher. If leave their posts in the future, their roles will be taken over by a history teacher Daiva Griškevičienė and Karolina Veromej an English language teacher. Our gymnasium teachers are active, willing to travel, visit museums and theaters. Often pupils go to nature - they go to the museums of Lithuania under the open sky. Therefore, we will be able to showcase the interesting attractions of our country to participants from other European countries. And we will also get a better understanding of the cultural life of our European partners.Maybe we'll find similarities.
